excellent Debatable Decisions – a site dedicated to sifting through the cack to
make sense of the contentious decisions seen in football week in, week out –
have started up a new series which will hopefully be as big a success as the
website already is.

analysis seeks to look at one referee in one game and compile a report of their
performance. The first instalment, as you may have guessed, comes from yours
truly, as I look at Kevin Friend’s controversial display at Loftus Road on
Saturday as QPR and Everton fought out a frustrating draw.
